I love multi-use props, and scarves are one of my favourites because they can be used across an entire class without overstimulating children or carrying lots of equipment. In this video, I cover:

– using scarves to support movement and concentration

– using scarves in partner yoga to support inclusion and connection without physical touch

– using scarves for relaxation and sensory reduction.

This approach is about more than making classes colourful or fun — it’s about supporting children’s nervous systems in practical, developmentally appropriate ways. If you’d like to go deeper, I’ve shared a full 45-minute session on my channel where I explore:

– creative use of classic yoga props

– children’s yoga props like scarves and feathers

– teaching with nature and minimal resources

– leading effective classes even when you have no props at all.

You’ll find that video linked on my channel.
