"I gave one of Laura's free courses a go and I was hooked! I learned so much in that 45 minutes that I couldn’t wait for more.

I completed Laura’s 95 hour yoga course. It was interactive, soooo informative, fun and I met the most amazing people on it. I felt completely ready to teach yoga to children and have been doing so online for the last three weeks.

The training didn’t stop at the end of the course. Laura is available to answer questions we have, give advice and support us whenever we need it.

I would highly recommend any/all of Laura’s courses, you won’t be disappointed".

Student Review
"I didn't know what to expect from an online teacher training course, wondering if it might feel a bit remote. I couldn't have been more wrong. Laura is an inspiring and fantastic teacher.

The community and friends I have found whilst attending the zoom tutorials, has been a wonderful surprise. Everyone is so supportive of one another.

Laura is passionate about kids yoga and this is infectious. I have learnt so much, without even being aware of it. I am very grateful to have found Divine Light online and made the decision to do the course.

I will 100% be back for more".

This is more than a course—it's a return to my roots.
I began my career as an Early Years teacher, and it was in my own classroom that I first introduced yoga and mindfulness. I saw firsthand how transformative these practices were for children who were overwhelmed, struggling to focus, or managing big feelings they didn’t yet know how to name.

That experience changed everything. It led me to train as a yoga teacher and build a career and life around yoga and well-being. And now, I’m coming full circle—back to the early years, because I believe this is where it all begins.

Why it matters:
The early years are foundational. This is when essential programming in a child’s brain and nervous system is formed. It’s when emotional patterns are set and resilience begins to build. And it’s exactly why yoga, breathwork and mindfulness need to start here.

This course isn’t just useful—it’s essential. It gives you the confidence, creativity and practical tool to meet children where they are and support who they’re becoming.

This course is where that understanding and knowledge becomes practical skill.
This course is for anyone who works with or cares for young children—parents, caregivers, early years educators, therapists, and yoga teachers. Whether you're brand new to yoga or already teaching movement and mindfulness, this training is essential.
It’s also perfect for those who’ve taken other trainings with me before.
This course is for you if:
-
you’re working with nursery or kindergarten-aged children
-
you want practical tools that actually support regulation (not just “calm”)
-
you’ve tried mindfulness or breathing with young kids and found it didn’t always work
-
you want classes to feel structured, engaging and manageable
-
you want to feel confident leading young children — without control, shouting or constant redirection

You don’t need prior kids yoga training to take this course. It’s designed as a foundational, confidence-building step.

Inside This 6-Hour Training, You’ll Learn How To:

-
Lead young children with confidence — even when they’re wriggly, noisy, or seemingly not listening
So you stop doubting yourself or feeling like you’re “losing control” of the class. -
Understand what children’s behaviour is actually communicating - And know exactly what to do to respond in ways that support regulation, rather than escalating chaos or frustration.
-
Create structure that children naturally respond to
So classes feel safer, clearer and more manageable — without shouting, over-explaining or constant redirection. -
Use movement, breath, and creativity to prevent overwhelm - not just react to it - Helping children settle and engage before things tip into dysregulation.
-
Feel calm and grounded as the teacher, even when the group energy is high. So you’re not finishing sessions feeling drained, stressed or questioning your ability.
-
Hold boundaries kindly and clearly
Without being overly strict, overly permissive, or stuck in a cycle of “please listen”. -
Teach in ways that are developmentally appropriate and genuinely safe
So you feel confident that what you’re offering supports children’s bodies, nervous systems and emotional well-being. -
Replace trial-and-error with practical, repeatable strategies that help kids yoga feel predictable, professional and enjoyable — for you and the children.

These are the foundations that turn kids yoga from something that feels chaotic or intimidating into something that feels purposeful, creative, and sustainable to teach.

These are the practical strategies that most teachers are never explicitly taught. You’ll learn through playful, interactive teaching— Expect movement, imagination and a supportive, creative space to learn in.

And because I’ve spent over 20 years working with young children of all learning styles and neurodiverse needs, everything I teach is designed to be flexible, inclusive and easy to adapt in your real-world settings.
All for just $29 USD.

What changes when you apply these tools?

Even if you only apply some of what’s covered during this course, you’ll begin to notice a shift.

You’ll start to:
-
feel calmer and more grounded as the adult in the room
-
recognise what children are communicating through their actions and behaviour
-
know how to respond in ways that support regulation and safety
-
reduce chaos and make classes feel smoother and more manageable
-
finish sessions feeling steadier and energised — not doubtful, drained or defeated

We focus on real, everyday moments teachers worry about, such as:
-
a child who won’t sit down and keeps wandering
-
children talking over you or each other
-
group energy becoming loud, scattered or chaotic
-
kids running around and 'out of control'
-
uncertainty about what’s safe or appropriate
-
that moment when “nothing works” and self-doubt kicks in

Instead of reacting or guessing, you’ll learn how to pause, read the situation, and respond in ways that feel calm, clear, and developmentally appropriate for the children.

Student Review

"This is by far one of the best thing that happened to me in the past years. Throughout the course I didn’t even blink nor took a break for a day, I was so excited and committed and willing to learn, and learn and learn even more.
Laura is by far the best educator, yoga trainer, practitioner and many other qualities . The beauty from inside out, dedicated and so passionate about her work. I started my social media platforms and organized zoom volunteer sessions in my community straight after the course.
I am amazed of myself. But this couldn’t be done without Laura’s guidance. I don’t have words to thank you enough.
The great thing is that anytime I have a doubt or a question about a theme or a difficult child case I ask Laura and she always give me the best advice. She just gave me wings to fly".

Our Curriculum

Across three practical, experiential training workshops, you’ll be guided through a clear, supportive learning space where we move, reflect, practice and apply together.

This course is designed to help you turn understanding into action — so teaching young children feels manageable, safe, and genuinely enjoyable, rather than stressful or unpredictable.

Rather than focusing on “keeping children calm”, we focus on helping children regulate — because when regulation is supported, behaviour becomes easier to manage and teaching requires far less effort.

Here’s what we’ll explore—together:

Breathwork that works for young children

-
Learn how to use simple, playful breathing techniques that are appropriate for young children and effective in real-life teaching situations.
-
You’ll learn which breathing techniques actually help reduce hyperactivity and overwhelm
-
When breath can support regulation — and when it can make things worse
-
How to introduce breath without forcing stillness or silence
This helps you:
✔ know exactly what to use when children are overstimulated
✔ respond calmly instead of scrambling for ideas
✔ feel equipped to help children settle without raising your voice or stopping the class

Movement-based yoga that supports regulation

Learn how to use yoga, play, songs and storytelling as regulation strategies, not just activities.
-
You’ll explore how to work with wriggly energy instead of fighting it
-
How movement can prevent behavioural challenges before they escalate
-
How to keep children engaged without constant talking or correcting

This helps you:
✔ stop feeling like you’re “losing” the group
✔ manage high energy without exhaustion
✔ experience classes that flow instead of fragment

Yoga becomes a way to organise energy, not compete with it.

Relaxation and stillness — without forcing it

Learn how to guide relaxation and quieter moments that are realistic and achievable for young children.
-
You’ll explore how to use imagination and story to support regulation
-
How to recognise regulation even when children aren’t perfectly still
-
How to let go of adult expectations around silence

This helps you:
✔ release the pressure to “make it calm”
✔ stop interpreting movement as failure
✔ feel more relaxed and trusting as the teacher
Stillness becomes an option — not a battle.

Safety-first, developmentally appropriate teaching

Develop a clear understanding of what is physically and neurologically appropriate for children aged 2.5–6.
-
You’ll learn what young children’s bodies are ready for (and what they’re not)
-
How to support balance, coordination and strength safely
-
How to hold clear physical boundaries with confidence

This helps you to:
✔ feel secure that your classes are safe
✔ stop second-guessing yourself mid-session
✔ teach with professional confidence rather than anxiety

Safety becomes something you know, not something you worry about.

Session structure that supports behaviour and brain development

Learn how to plan and sequence sessions in ways that align with young children’s developmental rhythms.
-
You’ll understand why structure matters more than novelty
-
How transitions affect behaviour
-
How pacing influences attention and regulation

This helps you:
✔ reduce behavioural challenges before they arise
✔ feel more in control of the flow of the class
✔ teach with less effort and more confidence
Structure becomes your support, not a restriction.

What to do when things feel loud, chaotic, or out of control

Gain clear, in-the-moment strategies for when group energy spikes or things don’t go to plan.
-
You’ll learn how to intervene without escalating the situation
-
How to re-establish structure calmly and quickly
-
How to support regulation without shutting children down

This helps you:
✔ feel capable even in challenging moments
✔ stay regulated yourself instead of becoming reactive
✔ finish classes feeling steady, not frazzled
You learn how to hold the room, even when it’s messy.

The overall impact

This curriculum isn’t about perfect behaviour or quiet classes.
It’s about helping you:
-
feel confident and prepared as the teacher
-
manage behaviour without force or frustration
-
conserve your own energy instead of burning out
-
teach in ways that feel safe, professional and sustainable

So kids yoga stops feeling intimidating — and starts feeling purposeful, grounded and genuinely rewarding to teach.

"I could not have been happier with the course! Laura is so passionate and has such an extensive amount of experience in both Early Years Education and in yoga which was so evident in her teacher training.

Everything was taught openly, genuinely and completely from the heart.
I felt that she gave all her students the tools they needed to open their minds to how they approach teaching yoga to young children.

I left the training feeling confident and excited about the prospect of applying what I had learned to any situation. It wasn't just power point presentations listing different activities, it was a whole new way of looking at teaching children yoga".

Student Review
"Laura is simply...changing the world, one child at a time! And I feel so lucky to have found the course, so I can do the same! You can expect a full toolbox on how to teach hands on teaching daily, and feeling fully empowered to go out there and do it, once you have completed the course.

Meeting and free dancing and mandala yoga-ing with a bunch of like minded peeps is the icing on the cake and the start of a tribe that will support and play with you through your kids yoga journey"

- Audrey Lim, Parent & Yoga Teacher

Student Review
"Laura is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever come across in any field and exudes tons of passion for what she does; which is evident in how she talks about and teaches this practice.

You will learn more than you may even be able to handle, but will come out of it feeling confident to teach right away, which is rare in my personal experience!

There is a lot of knowledge and insight to be shared, but be prepared to act like a complete fool! It is the most fun if you throw your full child heart into it without a care for how ridiculous you will look... and you will.. but it’s totally worth it!

Enjoy yourself and the experience for all it has to offer!"

Student Review
"The experience was fantastic. As a registered psychologist, I am expected to regularly attend continuing professional development training and as such, have spent thousands of Dollars and hours in many different workshops and training - both personal and professional.

I can honestly say that the learning, the inspiration, and the community that I have made on this training has been of the most personally fulfilling of any of the training I have ever done.

The training is part theory, part experiential, part philosophical, part heart-felt, part mindful and wrapped up in a business model. Be prepared to move, dance, laugh and cry".
- Clayton, Educational Psychologist
