A free workshop for yoga teachers, educators and movement & well-being facilitators who want calmer classes, more confidence and practical tools that actually work in real-life moments.

If your kids yoga classes sometimes feel overwhelming....

  • Children wandering around the room

  • Constant interruptions and calling out

  • Group energy escalating quickly

  • Feeling unsure what to do in the moment

  • Trying to stay calm while everything feels chaotic

  • Leaving class exhausted or discouraged

You’re not failing.

Most yoga teacher trainings simply don’t teach the foundations of child development, regulation, behaviour or classroom leadership.

And without those foundations, kids yoga can feel confusing, draining and unpredictable.

Meet Your Teacher

I’m Laura — a Children’s Yoga Teacher Trainer, Early Years Educator, and Yoga Teacher with over 25 years’ experience working with children and 12+ years teaching yoga and mindfulness.

I bring a unique blend of educational insight, therapeutic yoga, and playful mindfulness into everything I offer.

I'm from the UK and now live in Hong Kong, though my work has taken me across the world—leading trainings, collaborating with schools, and supporting educators across Asia, Europe, and beyond. My approach is practical, evidence-based and science-backed, designed to be both effortless to use and deeply impactful. At the heart of everything I teach is a commitment to provide positive experiences that feel safe, connected and meaningful - combining therapeutic techniques, creative movement, and emotional support in a way that is inclusive, playful and profoundly nurturing.

Whether I’m mentoring teachers, leading a workshop or creating new resources, my mission remains the same: to support others in sharing yoga in a way that’s relevant, impactfulful and truly child-centred.

Why This Knowledge Matters — Even Beyond Kids Yoga

Learning how to teach children isn’t only about teaching children.

When teachers understand how children learn, behave and regulate, it changes the way they teach across the board — often in ways they didn’t expect.

Teachers who develop these foundations often notice they become:

  • more confident in their teaching presence

  • clearer and calmer in their communication

  • more adaptable when things don’t go to plan

  • better at reading energy in a room

  • more heart-centred, less reliant on rigid scripts or “perfect cues”

Because working with children teaches you how to:

  • think on your feet

  • respond in real time

  • simplify without losing depth

  • communicate with clarity and warmth

  • hold structure while allowing flexibility

These are not just kids yoga skills.
They are core teaching skills that support adult classes, workshops, classrooms and group facilitation too.

Many teachers begin exploring kids yoga not because they want a new niche but because they want to become more confident, capable and responsive teachers overall.

This workshop is designed to give you that foundation.
