The Regulated Teacher Circle
Ongoing mentorship and professional development for children’s yoga teachers.
Registrations Open 1st April
Teaching children yoga can be deeply rewarding and like any meaningful work with children, it is something we continue learning and refining over time.
Whether you are just beginning your teaching journey, already teaching kids yoga regularly or looking to deepen your skills and grow your work further, there are always new questions, ideas and opportunities to explore.
How do you respond to challenging behaviour?
How do I advertise my classes effectively on Instagram?
How do I plan and structure a family yoga retreat?
How can I market my work when I only have a small amount of time each week?
How can I find the energy to lead more classes?
The Regulated Teacher Circle is a space where children’s yoga teachers come together to keep learning, reflecting and growing — strengthening both their teaching practice and their professional confidence.
Teacher Review
"Content, class timings, support throughout , all brilliant! As well as the lovely Laura you will connect with wonderful souls from all over the world all sharing their knowledge.
Be prepared to get inspired, motivated, educated, to laugh, get pulled right out of your comfort zone and be wrapped up in warm, kind, extremely friendly little bubble.
Can not recommend enough! GO ON DO IT."

Student Review
Why the Circle Exists
Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring children’s yoga teachers through one-to-one sessions and small group programs.
Those conversations have been some of the most rewarding parts of my work, because I get to watch teachers grow; developing confidence in their teaching, finding their voice, and gradually building work that reaches more children and families.
But one challenge comes up again and again. Many teachers have beautiful ideas, strong training, and a genuine passion for supporting children yet they struggle with the practical side of turning that into sustainable work.
Questions about marketing, pricing, growing classes or simply knowing where to begin can quickly become overwhelming.
I understand this deeply, because when I started my own business over ten years ago, I had no business knowledge at all.
I built everything from scratch - often through trial and error. Over time I began investing in courses, mentors and high-level coaching programmes, learning strategies and approaches that completely transformed the way I worked.
Those lessons are ones I still return to today, and I continue to actively study new approaches to marketing, business growth, and sustainable teaching.
Because the reality is that if we want children and families to benefit from yoga, teachers also need the skills to grow and sustain their work.
Many teachers are holding space for children, families and communities while feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or unsure how to sustain their energy long-term. I believe that if we want to support children’s wellbeing, we must also create spaces where teachers feel supported and regulated themselves.
This is why the Regulated Teacher Circle includes dedicated sessions focused on teacher wellbeing and nervous system support, alongside teaching skills and business growth.
Because when teachers feel grounded, supported and confident, they are able to create truly meaningful experiences for the children they serve.
The Regulated Teacher Circle was created to bring together the teaching knowledge, business understanding and mentorship I’ve developed over the years into one supportive community space.
A place where teachers can ask questions, learn practical skills, and grow their work step by step — without needing to invest in expensive one-to-one coaching.
My hope is simple: That more teachers feel confident building their work, and as a result more children, families and schools can experience the benefits of yoga.

How the Circle Works
The Regulated Teacher Circle is an ongoing mentorship space designed to support children’s yoga teachers at every stage of their journey.
Each month we gather for three live sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of developing as a children’s yoga teacher.
Sessions are relaxed, interactive and practical — combining reflection, discussion, mentorship and real-world guidance that you can apply immediately into your teaching and business.
Every month includes:
• Teacher Wellbeing Session: A restorative, reflective session designed to support your own nervous system and wellbeing as a teacher.
• Teaching Lab: A practical session exploring real classroom scenarios, lesson planning and teaching skills.
• Business & Growth Session: Guidance on growing your classes, marketing your work and building sustainable income from teaching children’s yoga.
All sessions are live and recorded, so you can attend in real time or watch the replay when it suits you.
Members also receive access to the most recent 3-months of sessions, so there is always valuable content available when you need it.

Why This Space Is Different
Many memberships, mentorship programmes and online trainings offer quick tips, templates or strategies to copy.
While those resources can be helpful, they often leave teachers still wondering how to apply them in their own teaching or business.
The Regulated Teacher Circle takes a different approach.
Rather than simply telling you what to do, this space focuses on helping you build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make thoughtful decisions for yourself both as a teacher and as a business owner.
Inside the Circle, we explore effective children’s yoga teaching and the realities of building a sustainable yoga offering.
You will learn:
• How to design engaging, developmentally appropriate yoga classes for different ages
• How to respond calmly and confidently to real classroom situations
• How to grow your teaching work in a way that fits your lifestyle, energy and values
• How to market your classes and programmes effectively, even with limited time
• How to price your offers based on your location, audience and business goals
• How to make confident decisions as your teaching work begins to grow
When we explore topics like marketing, pricing or expanding your work, there is never a single “correct” formula.
What works for a teacher in the UK may look very different from what works for someone teaching in Singapore, New Zealand or a small local community.
Instead of offering one-size-fits-all answers, the Circle helps you develop the understanding and confidence to choose the path that works best for you.
Over time, this approach means you are not dependent on someone else’s templates or strategies. You become someone who can adapt, problem-solve and grow with confidence.
Because the goal of this space is not just to give you ideas. It is to help you become a skilled, confident and sustainable children’s yoga teacher and business owner.

About Laura
Laura is the founder of Divine Light Yoga and has spent over 25 years working in education alongside more than 12 years teaching yoga to adults and children.
Her yoga journey began with teaching adult classes, and she has trained extensively in practices including restorative yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra.
Laura has completed well over 1,000 hours of teacher training and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), RCYT 95-Hour and YACEP.
Alongside her yoga career, Laura has also worked as a classroom teacher, giving her a deep understanding of child development and the realities of working with children in learning environments. Today she combines her background in education, yoga teaching and business development to train and mentor children’s yoga teachers internationally.
Through her programmes, Laura has supported hundreds of teachers to develop their teaching skills and grow sustainable children’s yoga offerings.
The Regulated Teacher Circle was created to provide a space where that learning and mentorship can continue long after initial training ends. Laura believes that teaching children yoga is a lifelong learning journey, and that teachers deserve ongoing support, reflection, and professional development as their work grows.
Who the Regulated Teacher Circle Is For?
The Circle is designed for children’s yoga teachers who want to keep growing beyond their initial training.
You may be:
• A newly qualified children’s yoga teacher who wants ongoing guidance
• Already teaching classes but looking to deepen your confidence and teaching skills
• Running regular classes and wanting support to grow your work
• Exploring ideas like retreats, workshops or online courses
• Building a growing business and looking for support with marketing, pricing or expansion
• Wanting to feel less alone as you build your children’s yoga work
Many teachers join because they love teaching but want support navigating questions and concerns like:
• “I’ve just qualified - how do I start offering my first classes?”
• “I only have a few hours each week to market my work. What should I focus on?”
• “How do I plan a family yoga retreat?”
• “Should I hire another teacher or keep teaching everything myself?”
The Circle provides a space where those conversations can happen openly. Some teachers join the Circle because they are just beginning. Others join because they already have an established teaching practice and want support as they grow.
Wherever you are in your journey, the Circle provides a space where you can keep learning, asking questions and developing your work.

Is this only for new teachers?
Not at all. The Regulated Teacher Circle supports teachers at every stage of their journey.
Some members join when they are just beginning and want guidance on starting their classes, while others join because they are already teaching regularly and want to continue developing their teaching skills, growing their work, or expanding their business.
Is this a course or a community?
The Regulated Teacher Circle is an ongoing mentorship space, rather than a fixed course.
Each month brings new conversations, new questions, and new areas of exploration as teachers grow and develop their work.
It’s a space for continuous learning, reflection, and professional development.
What makes this different from other kids yoga memberships?
Many memberships focus primarily on providing lesson plans, activity libraries, or teaching resources. The Regulated Teacher Circle takes a different approach.
Rather than simply giving you materials to copy, this space focuses on helping you develop your own knowledge, teaching skills and professional confidence.
Inside the Circle we explore:
• the science and understanding behind effective and successful teaching
• real classroom scenarios and problem-solving
• how to adapt your teaching for different children and environments
• how to grow a sustainable children’s yoga business
The goal is not just to give you ideas but to help you become a skilled, confident and adaptable teacher and business owner.
What if I’m just starting and don’t even have classes yet?
That’s completely fine. Many teachers join the Circle when they are just beginning and want support with the early steps, such as:
• setting up their first classes
• creating social media or a simple website
• understanding how to market and promote their work
• building confidence as a new teacher
You’ll be able to ask questions and learn from teachers who are at different stages of their journey.
What if I’m already experienced?
The Circle is also designed for teachers who already have an established practice and want to continue growing professionally. Some members join because they want support with:
• Expanding their classes or programmes
• Creating retreats, workshops, or teacher trainings
• Marketing their work more effectively
• Building a sustainable business without burning out
Wherever you are in your journey, the Circle offers space for continued learning and development.
Do I need to be a Divine Light Yoga graduate to join?
No. The Regulated Teacher Circle is open to all children’s yoga teachers, regardless of where they completed their training.
Teachers from different training backgrounds bring valuable perspectives to the conversations.
