Who This Is For?

This workshop is designed for the adults who matter most in a child’s life — parents, carers, educators, and kids’ yoga teachers.

Because here’s the truth: children cannot regulate themselves — they need us to teach them how.

If you care for or work with children in any capacity, understanding the nervous system isn’t optional anymore — it’s essential.

Not just for supporting kids through tantrums, anxiety, meltdowns or overwhelm — but for preventing long-term stress patterns and mental health challenges from developing in the first place

.

This is for you if you’ve ever thought:

  • “Why are they having such a big reaction to something so small?”

  • “I’ve tried everything, and they’re still not listening, calming down, or coping well.”

  • “How can I help them without yelling or shutting them down?”

  • “I wish I had known how to manage my own emotions when I was younger.”

In just one workshop, you’ll learn simple, science-backed tools that can change the entire trajectory of a child’s emotional health — and support your own mental wellbeing in the process.

For just $9 USD, you’ll walk away with:

  • A deep understanding of how stress and dysregulation show up in kids

  • Practical tools to help children feel safe, calm, and connected

  •  Lifelong strategies that reduce anxiety, boost resilience, and create more peace — at home, in the classroom, and in yourself

  •

This isn’t just helpful — it’s your responsibility as the safe adult in a child’s life.

When you learn how to regulate yourself and co-regulate with your child, you’re not only helping them feel better in the moment — you’re shaping their brain, their future, and the kind of adult they’ll grow into.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Simple, science-based strategies you can use daily

No complicated theories or overwhelming techniques here — just straightforward, research-backed methods designed to fit gently into your busy life. These tools empower you to create calm and connection every day, helping both you and the children in your care feel safer, more understood, and emotionally supported. Imagine having reliable, easy-to-follow steps at your fingertips whenever challenges arise — a true lifeline for your family or classroom.

  • Tools for calming meltdowns and preventing burnout

Meltdowns and overwhelming emotions can feel exhausting and even discouraging. But with practical calming tools, you’ll be equipped to gently guide children through their big feelings, reducing the stress for everyone involved. Plus, you’ll learn how to protect your own emotional well-being so you don’t run on empty. This means more energy, more patience, and a greater sense of calm in your daily life (and body) — because when you’re supported, you can support others better.

  • Confidence in supporting emotional regulation

You don’t have to be an expert to make a difference. This course helps you build genuine confidence in recognising emotional cues and responding in ways that nurture regulation, resilience, and trust. You’ll feel more assured in your decisions, more skilled in your responses, and more connected to the children you care for. This confidence transforms overwhelm into empowerment — a foundation for positive change.

  • A deeper understanding of your own nervous system

When we understand our own nervous system — how it reacts to stress, how it calms down — we unlock a powerful key to managing emotions for ourselves and others. This awareness allows you to break patterns of stress and reactivity, creating space for more calm and compassion in your interactions. It’s a profound step toward emotional freedom, greater self-compassion, and becoming the steady, nurturing presence your children need most.

  • A foundation to build healthier relationships with the children in your care

At the heart of everything is connection. By learning these tools and insights, you lay the groundwork for deeper trust, stronger bonds, and meaningful connections with the children you love and support. Healthier relationships mean children feel safe to express themselves and grow, and you experience the joy and fulfilment that comes from truly understanding and guiding them. This foundation will support you and your family or classroom for years to come.

Student Review

"I have taken away SO much from this training: knowledge, ideas, resources, as well as real, practical ways to implement these into my own school.

I cannot recommend Laura's Children's Yoga Training enough for somebody who has an interest in yoga and combining this with teaching children!"

What you'll learn:

  • The Nervous System in Simple Terms

Understand the stress cycle, regulation, and what’s happening inside a child’s brain and body during big feelings.

  • The Adult’s Nervous System: You First

Learn why your regulation matters most, and how to model calm for your child or class.

  • The Calm Down Toolkit: 5 Essentials

You'll walk away with five easy-to-use tools (with demonstrations) you can start using immediately:

  • Movement for focus, grounding, and energy release

  • Breathing techniques for calm and emotional regulation

  • Mindful Awareness + Pause Practices to support self-regulation and present-moment focus

  • Sensory Strategies that calm the body, help children feel safe and optimise the learning environment

  • Connection strategies for co-regulation and emotional well-being

Children are more dysregulated, anxious, and overwhelmed than ever before. And without regulated adults to guide them, their nervous systems can’t learn how to calm down or feel safe in their bodies.

Whether you're a teacher, parent, carer or kids' yoga teacher, this work is urgent and necessary.

Now is the time to build your understanding, your confidence, and your toolkit — so you can show up calm, clear, and connected in the moments that matter most.

For just $9 USD, you’ll walk away with insights and practical tools that could change your child's future — and your own.

Hi, I'm Laura — founder of Wildflower Well-Being and Divine Light Yoga. I'm a qualified Early Years Educator and former kindergarten teacher with 25+ years of experience supporting children’s development, behaviour and well-being.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve trained hundreds of educators, parents, and yoga teachers across the globe to bring evidence-based regulation practices into classrooms and homes.

I’ve worked across the Hong Kong education system, led international teacher trainings, and spent years studying the nervous system, child psychology and development, holistic education practices, yoga and well-being.

But more importantly — I’ve seen first-hand how powerful these tools are when adults understand them and use them.

This isn't fluffy - this is science-backed, child-centred, and deeply practical. And it’s my mission to make it accessible to everyone who works with or cares for children.

We can’t expect kids to "calm down," "use their words," or "make good choices" when their nervous systems are in distress.

But we can guide them — with knowledge, compassion, and tools that work.

This workshop is part of my mission to empower more adults — like you — to feel confident in co-regulation, behaviour support and emotional well-being.

Let’s change the way we care for children — by changing the way we care for ourselves and how we respond to them.

Student Review

"The experience was fantastic. As a registered psychologist, I am expected to regularly attend continuing professional development training and as such, have spent thousands of Dollars and hours in many different workshops and training - both personal and professional.

I can honestly say that the learning, the inspiration, and the community that I have made on this training has been of the most personally fulfilling of any of the training I have ever done.

The training is part theory, part experiential, part philosophical, part heart-felt, part mindful and wrapped up in a business model. Be prepared to move, dance, laugh and cry".

Small Investment. Big Impact

Student Review

"Laura is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever come across in any field and exudes tons of passion for what she does; which is evident in how she talks about and teaches this practice.

You will learn more than you may even be able to handle, but will come out of it feeling confident to teach right away, which is rare in my personal experience!

There is a lot of knowledge and insight to be shared, but be prepared to act like a complete fool! It is the most fun if you throw your full child heart into it without a care for how ridiculous you will look... and you will.. but it’s totally worth it!

Enjoy yourself and the experience for all it has to offer!"
