Where Do You Start?

This workshop has now closed

Thank you so much for your interest in learning more about teaching yoga and wellbeing to children.

This particular workshop was available for a limited time alongside enrolment for my September Online Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, and access has now closed.

But there’s still plenty you can explore with me.

If you’d like to learn more about my approach to children’s yoga, I’d love to invite you to watch my free workshop:

Teaching Kids Yoga: The Essentials

Inside, we’ll explore what really matters when teaching yoga to children beyond simply knowing poses, breathing exercises and activities.

You’ll learn more about my approach to teaching methodology, behaviour, communication, regulation and creating yoga experiences that actually work for the children.

Meet Your Teacher

I'm Laura, a Children's Yoga Teacher Trainer, Early Years & Special Needs Educator, and Yoga Teacher with over 25 years' experience working with children and 12+ years teaching yoga and mindfulness.

Originally from the UK and now based in Hong Kong, I've led children's yoga trainings around the world, collaborated with schools and organisations, and supported thousands of educators, parents and yoga teachers in bringing yoga and wellbeing practices to children. My approach is practical, evidence-based and science-backed, combining therapeutic techniques, creative movement, and emotional support in a way that is inclusive, playful and profoundly nurturing.

When I first started introducing yoga into my classroom, I honestly didn't know what I was doing. I'd been practicing yoga and meditation for many years and had already completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, yet I still wasn't sure how to translate those practices into experiences that were engaging, age-appropriate and meaningful for children.

It wasn't until I completed a Children's Yoga Teacher Training that everything began to make sense. Suddenly I understood not only what to teach, but how to teach it, why it worked and how to adapt it for different ages, abilities and needs.

This workshop is designed to give you a glimpse into that world and help you understand what children's yoga really is, why it works, and what it takes to teach it effectively.
