Wood School, Bali
26th June - 3rd July 2023
Combining charity with community, travel and learning in this very exciting and new opportunity for you to visit and train at the Wood School: A Nature-Based, Alternative Education, Non-Profit School in Ubud, Bali.
We're working with Wood School to provide free training for their teaching staff so that they can share yoga, meditation and mindfulness within the school and community for years to come, and we want you to be part of it!
When you register for the teacher training, your tuition fee will not only pay for your tuition but will also sponsor a member of teaching staff at the Wood School Non-Profit to join the training for free too.
AND, we're offering you a 25% discount on the tuition fees (so it's a win-win all round).
This means that when you attend the teacher training you'll not only gain the knowledge, skills and certification to start teaching yoga and mindfulness to children in your community, but you're supporting teachers in the local Balinese community to do so too - this really is a training about sharing, supporting and giving.
Wood School, Bali
Wood School provides a neohumanist education, yoga-based teachings and an immerse nature-based environment in order to support children's overall health, education and well-being through a holistic, child-led approach, which is very much inline with our work at Divine Light Yoga.
Seva (selfless service) is planted at the heart of the Wood School ethos, as is Ahimsa (non-harming practices) towards others, animals, the environment and themselves. The school provides ample opportunity for the children to practice both through their volunteer programs, environmental projects and their animal care shelter.
The school completely encompasses an approach that is based on yoga practices, positive educational experiences and immersion in nature - everything that we focus on at Divine Light Yoga, which is why this collaboration is the perfect partnership for our Children's Yoga Teacher Trainings.
Ubud, known for it's culture, art and beautiful rice paddies is a magical, Balinese town just an hour away from the airport.
From Hindu temples to the Monkey Forest and lush natural surroundings, there is a lot to explore in this cultural and spiritual haven.
There are an abundance of yoga and wellness centres, Balinese villas, hotels and spas to choose from depending on your needs and budget.
One of the absolute highlights of all of our teacher training programs is the opportunity to teach the children of our local community. It is such a diverse and beautiful community!
This is a wonderful chance to share your love, light and joy with children, that may not ordinarily have the opportunity to experience yoga, play & creativity. This is guaranteed to be one of the most valuable aspects of the training and something that makes us a little unique.
